The Grass is Always Greener
(This was shot in my backyard, which is not in the country but actually in an industrial zone near the train tracks. The second shot really appeals to me because her hair is full of wishes, and it looks like the dandelions are coming out of her mouth like speech bubbles.)

The Better To Eat You With!

Mountain
(The reason the blacks are so rich is because I covered her in Bag Balm and then painted her black.)
The Decorative Arts
Etchings projected on a nude with a $5 plastic pattern enlarger from Goodwill.
Study in Motion
Very simple, very messy set up. The model stood still while I made piles of sifted flour on various body parts, then she moved her various body parts. My biggest fear was that the studio lights would ignite the flour dust and we would explode. Thankfully that did not happen. If you have time to view these at full size I highly recommend it!
I would also like to note that my studio ceiling is only 6 1/2 feet high. The model was tiny, which gave her the ability to jump in my tiny studio. She’s amazing.
The Calm Before the Storm
I have no explanation for this set except maybe I’ve played too much Silent Hill, although I can tell you I did shoot through the glass vase again for the blur.
